Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I have been working at CMA CGM full-time for more than 3 years Cons: The US president looks down on you as if you smell bad if you speak to him, over worked, lack of filling head count, under paid, high turn over, high amounts of outsourcing to other countries that causes more work for the competent employees, constant lies about job security, no work life balance, impossible goals to meet, benefits keeps being taken away, awarding people who do the bare minimum and not those who break their backs for the company, everything is about appearances.. ECT.."

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says

Former Employee - Customer Service says

"I worked at CMA CGM full-time for more than a year Cons: Company does not value staff resulting in high turnover, opportunity to progress available to select few, dirty offices, disorganised work culture, no training provided, lack of communication, underhanded management tactics. No training provided, disorganised and inconsistent atmosphere. No concern for mental health or well being of staff members, strong lack of empathy for customers within this business. No job security even for those with permanent contracts. Management openly talk negatively about staff members within the office. Company does not value staff resulting in high turnover, opportunity to progress available to select few, dirty offices, disorganised work culture, no training provided, lack of communication, underhanded management tactics. Systems are slow and unreliable Emphasis on figures and micro-managing to close customer concerns within the system rather than resolve them, this role consists of quantity over quality. Several staff members have been bullied out of this company by management. CMA CGM do not value staff members, this is a horrible place to work if you wish to progress or have a career within the shipping industry. Overtime is not available to everyone and only a select few staff members will be presented with the opportunity to progress. Pay is low when compared with other similar roles within this industry. Overall avoid this company, would not work here again or recommend."

Customer Service Advisor (Former Employee) says

"No training provided, disorganised and inconsistent atmosphere. Cons: Company does not value staff resulting in high turnover, opportunity to progress available to select few, dirty offices, disorganised work culture, no training provided, lack of communication, underhanded management tactics."

Becario (Former Employee) says

Informatique (Current Employee) says

"pression malsaine, blintz complet, les managers préfèrent gérer les problèmes par la pression plutôt que d'opter pour des choix technologiques judicieux et mettre en place des processus pertinents. Ah le bâtiment est joli... c'est sûr."

Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) says

"This was probably the worst assignment I’ve ever been on. The upper manager I was assigned to was tremendously rude, and snarky. I dosed of in a training that I was thrown into, and had no idea what was even going on in the training and one of her colleagues told her I was flat out sleep, which was the furthest thing from the truth. So I explained to her that I had dozed off like a normal person, FYI, this 1 hr training turned into a 3 hour training, and I had no break prior to this training. But she barked at me so rudely, she raised her voice as if she were speaking to a child, and ended with DONT LET IT HAPPEN AGAIN!"

Import and export (Former Employee) says

"The culture here is a joke. Unprofessional and high school at best. Its like all the nerds in high school have united at CMA and want desperately to form a "popular" clique. It is totally pathetic. HR and management are a complete joke. RUN AWAY!! Cons: Where do I start"

at a Management Level (Former Employee) says

"The entire operation works as a group , biased performance, no transparency, no question of integrity or ethics. the culture and the climate is very hostile. Every resource in the management is involved into unethical business practices and there is a huge wall created where information does not flow beyond the MD - Audrey to HQ - The Finance team/ Multimodal leaders flout Indian laws and take kick backs from vendors - vendors are only empanelled who get into terms with these individuals. Laws are manipulated with the help of powerful agents and politician"

Temporary Employee (Former Employee) says

"I have work as a temp for a few weeks and I was excited about working for the company until I reported and actually do the job. The first week, I hated it already. The training sucks and management have their own click. If the manager does not like you, you don't exist. Cons: training and management sucks!"

Inbound Vessel Close Coordinator (Current Employee) says

"Time is spent doing countless reports all day, and supervisors/managers are on our case to get everything done which is impossible. We are required overtime, but then we get questioned if we need to work more than the required 2 hour overtime per week. We have to take the day off if we need to take care of anything personal."

Import/Export Coordinator/Hazardous Specialist (Current Employee) says

"Job is very redundant. You can succeed if management likes you and you are male. Too many rules and regulations that do not bend under any circumstance. The work is not difficult once you learn the shipping language. It becomes redundant rather quickly. The most enjoyable part of the job is the PTO. Cons: Poor Management/Job security"
